Honor and integrity in public office
Lt. Governor,
It is unfortunate and a shame that the second highest elected official representing our homeland is still in office even after being indicted in federal court on charges of the following reference case # CR-08-0020 Conspiracy ( Count 1 ) Wire Fraud (Count 2) Theft concerning Federal Funds ( Count 3 ). These are serious allegations and as our Lt. Governor we believe that it is unjust, unethical, and highly irresponsible of you to continue holding a high position in public office. The right and proper thing to do, is resign or go on leave until the case is resolved. We do believe in our judicial system that anyone charged with a crime is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Not only is this matter such an insult it also makes a mockery of our Government’s integrity.
If it were a common ordinary individual he or she will be slapped with the fullest extend of the Law and a NO Bail handed down then thrown in jail to await court hearings and proceedings.
As an advocates and concern citizens in our homeland involved in everyday critical Public Affairs affecting our community we urge you to do the right thing and tender your resignation immediately for you are unjustly, unfaithfully and irresponsibly representing our homeland and is of great insult, disrespect and dishonor to the people of the Commonwealth.
All due respect Mr. Villagomez, this is nothing personal but we hope that you take our statement of concern into consideration and do the right thing for we as taxpayers, voters, and citizens of this great Commonwealth deserve to be represented with honor, respect, and integrity.
