Bamba joins his four brothers in US Army

Private First Class Daniel Josh Bamba recently graduated from Basic Combat Training in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Bamba enlisted as a field artillery cannon crew member in Junction City, Kansas in May 2008, upon graduating from high school.

Bamba is the fifth son of Margarita Bamba and the late David B. Bamba to join the military. His older brothers, Sgt. David F. Bamba, is currently deployed to Afghanistan with the Guam National Guard; SFC John A. Bamba is a drill sergeant in Fort Sill, Oklahoma with Fox Battery 1/19th FA; PFC Gregory M. Bamba just graduated from AIT in Fort Lee, Virginia and will be stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Chris R. Bamba was also an enlisted soldier in the Army from 1998-2000.

Their father, the late David B. Bamba of Mongmong, Guam, retired from the Army as an SFC in 1995. He served in the Gulf War.
