APAFS issues program for Manila conference

The official Program Brochure of the 8th Annual Pacific Region Investment Conference, organized by the Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies, is now available for viewing at www.apafs.org. The brochure features the full program details of the conference as well as speakers’ profiles and sponsors’ information. Printed copies will be distributed during the conference proper on Oct. 9 – 10, 2008 at the Grand Ballroom of the Renaissance Hotel in Makati City, Manila.
This year’s keynote speaker is legendary contrarian investor Dr. Marc Faber, editor and publisher of The Gloom, Boom & Doom Report (www.gloomboomdoom.com) and CEO and president of Marc Faber Limited. Aside from being the author of the Amazon bestseller Tomorrow’s Gold – Asia’s Age of Discovery, Dr. Faber is also a regular contributor to leading financial publications around the world and has provided market commentaries for Bloomberg News, Bloomberg TV and CNBC. Also among the conference’s notable speakers is the Philippines’ Sen. Edgardo Angara, author of PERA Law and Philippine Pension Reform.
