Sufa Golf Tournament tees off Aug. 23

The Sufa Softball Association will be holding a golf fundraiser this coming Aug. 23 at the Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort in Koblerville.

The organization’s vice president Joe Salas said the event, dubbed simply as the Sufa Golf Tournament, is Sufa Softball Association’s last and final fundraising before the team departs to the 4th Annual Labor Day Softball Tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sufa Golf Tournament will have a registration time of between 10:30am and 11:45am with a shotgun start of 12pm. Tournament fee is $100.

After the tournament, players are requested to proceed to the awards banquet presentation at the Minachom Atdao Pavilion in Susupe.

Salas said the proceeds from the fundraiser will once again help defray the cost of airfare, hotel, and other miscellaneous expenses of the team while they compete in Nevada.
