Women’s National Team tryouts

In related news, BANMI president and CNMI Women’s National coach Elias Rangamar has scheduled tryouts for the women’s team he is assembling for the FIBA Oceania Under-19 Youth Basketball Tournament set in Guam this coming September.

Rangamar said interested players who were born on or after Jan. 1, 1999, only need to show up with a passion for the sport and eagerness to learn at the Marianas High School from 2pm to 4pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

There will also be tryouts scheduled at the older Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium every Tuesday and Thursday beginning 4:30pm.

Rangamar hopes that veterans of the Marianas Inter-Scholastic Organization and Private Schools League will attend the tryouts and form the core of the women’s 19-and-under national team.
