Exciting prizes up for grabs in 2nd Annual Car Rally

Prizes keep piling up for the 2nd Annual Beach Road Magazine Car Rally.

“We now have lots of prizes to give away,” said Susan Marchitti, Beach Road Magazine account manager and lead coordinator for the car rally.

“We are so grateful to the businesses that have so generously lent their support to make this event even more exciting for real drivers to join in. Participants who did not win the top three slots will still go home with a good prize,” she added.

Aside from cash prizes for winners, at stake are gift certificates from 360 Restaurant, the place with a view; two gift certificates for an overnight stay for two at Saipan Grand Hotel, lunch and dinner buffet also at Saipan Grand Hotel; an overnight stay for two at Palms Resort Saipan, and buffet at a Palms Resort F&B outlet; lunch for two at The Green Flash Restaurant; four gift bags from Boarderline; 60 duffle bags from Western Union; and two Wear-A-Marconi shirts, among others.

“And the prizes keep piling up,” Marchitti said.

Cash prizes will be given to the top three winners. The first prize winner will get $250; second prize, $200; and third, $150, Marchitti said.

Registration is $15 and space is limited to 60 cars. The car rally will be held on May 24. The awards party, where prizes will also be raffled, will be held at the Oleai Beach Bar & Grill in the evening of May 25. A special 10 percent discount on non-special food items will be given to car rally participants.

So hurry! Grab a copy of Beach Road Magazine for the entry forms, fill them out and submit to the Glimpses of Saipan office on the second floor of the Transpac Business Center along Middle Road, Gualo Rai (near Subway restaurant) during regular business hours from 8am to 5pm.

The 2nd Annual Beach Road Magazine Car Rally is a competitive motoring event in which drivers must successfully complete a given course by following a set of instructions. The starting point will be announced. Drivers will receive a new set of instructions at each checkpoint, which will guide them through the next section of the rally up to the finish.
