Laolao Family Fun Day next week

The Laolao Bay Golf Resort recently announced that its 6th Annual Family Fun Day 2008 will be held on May 24, 2008.

According to a statement released by organizing committee chair Tommy McKenzie, Family Fun Day 2008 is Laolao Bay Golf Resort’s way of extending its appreciation to the local golfers, their families and the local community for their “year-round patronage and support.”

This year’s event will include on course bike-lane and walkathon, husband-wife and parent-child best golf tournament, and “Big Truck Day.”

As in the past, Laolao Bay Golf Resort is teaming up with the Commonwealth Health Center Volunteers, the Commonwealth Diabetes Coalition, Ayuda Network, and the Department of Land and Natural Resources to spice up this year’s event.

The committee is also working closely with the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs and the Department of Public Safety to help give the event a successful turnout.
