The Northern Mariana Islands Football Association is currently holding tryouts for its 14-and-under team set to play a series of international matches in Guam in a couple of months.

The tryouts are held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30pm to 6pm and every Saturday from 8:30am to 10am at the San Antonio Elementary School.

The tryouts are open for both new and experienced football players. Candidates must have a current passport that doesn’t expire in six months and must not turn 15 years old for the rest of the year.

The CNMI U14 National Team will head to Guam to play seven international matches from July 4 to 11 in U.S. territory.

National coach Nick Swaim said the team will be selected at the end of the month and players making the team will travel to Guam all-expenses paid to play the matches. All levels are welcome, with a good attitude and hard work ethic, according to Swaim.

If interested please contact Swaim at 235-0173 or show up to San Antonio Elementary School and introduce yourself. (NMIFA)
