Golden Harvest hosts annual sportsfest

The Golden Harvest International School celebrated its 5th Annual Sportsfest & Family Day last Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the Minatchom Atdao Pavilion and Beach Park.

It started with a parade of colors participated in by the school administrators, students, parents, teachers, and visitors, followed by the lighting of the torch. Everybody enjoyed the different games prepared for the students and parents.

The graders showcased a colorful mass demonstration under the direction of the P.E. teacher, Bona Angeles, coordinated by Meliza Umali. All the teachers and staff were equally commendable for their untiring support to make the affair a success.

The GHIS family and visitors shared a variety of sumptuous delicacies brought by all the parents, PTSA officers, teachers and administrators.

The event was highlighted by the awarding of medals and trophies to the teams that participated in the games. The Red Team was proclaimed the Champion of the Year.
