CoCo was invited to GTC Elementary School last week to read to its students.

All of CoCo’s books were about protecting our environment. Earth day – Hooray showcased how a small group of young children started aluminum can drive so they can earn money to beautify a nearby park for their neighborhood earth day celebration.

In Just a Dream, students learned that small acts like properly disposing of garbage, recycling and planting trees can save our natural resources for many future generations.

First and second graders listened to Reina Camacho read Dr. Suess’ book, The Lorax. The book explained that all resources are important.

The special occasion is the GTC Young Author’s Book Fair held annually. GTC also invited CoCo to their Cultural Day celebration on Sat, May 31. (CoCo)
