‘An evening with MLK’ set next Wednesday

The NMI Council for the Humanities will host “An Evening with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”, which features a Chautauqua performance by master storyteller Bill Grimmette at 6pm on Wednesday, May 7, at Charley’s Cabaret, Pacific Islands Club.

Grimmette is a member of the National Association of Black Storytellers and perennial performer at the Kennedy Center and Smithsonian Institution. He has portrayed Dr. King at numerous venues in the United States.

Tickets for this event are priced at $20 per person and include finger foods and a no-host bar. Tickets may be purchased at the Council office at King’s Plaza in Dandan or at the door. Seating is limited, so get your tickets soon.
