The public is being invited to a special presentation to be conducted by Angello Villagomez, Beautify CNMI co-founder and former executive director of Mariana Islands Nature Alliance, regarding the proposal to make the three northernmost Mariana Islands into a national park. The proposal aims at conserving the 3 northernmost uninhabited islands and turning them into a sanctuary. The public is encouraged to attend and prepare questions and comments. The purpose of this presentation is to provide the public with background information on the proposal and to clarify any misconceptions that have arisen. Proponents and opponents are encouraged to attend and share their views on the proposal. Presentation will be at the Kagman Community Center at 6:30pm on Thursday, May 1.
