The 2008 Marianas March Against Cancer Committee welcomed the Hotel Association of the Northern Mariana Islands, Pacific Trading Co. and Staywell Insurance as major sponsors for the 2008 MMAC.

HANMI has traditionally sponsored the Survivor Dinner held at the MMAC event and will continue this year as a major sponsor. The MMAC Committee is inviting all cancer survivors to attend the dinner banquet on May 16, 2008, at the Hopwood Junior High School field in Chalan Piao. Survivors are urged to contact Nora Sablan at 235-0998 or via email at norasablan@gmail.com to confirm attendance.

Pacific Trading Co. and Staywell have also confirmed their status as major sponsors for the 2008 MMAC. Major sponsorship status is conferred upon businesses who have donated between $1,000 and $2,999 in monetary or material goods. Title sponsorship status is conferred upon businesses who have donated $3,000 or more in monetary or material goods.

The 2008 Marianas March Against Cancer Title Sponsors are Duty Free Shoppers, PTI, Joeten Charitable Foundation, Northwest Airlines, Bank of Guam, Sorensen Media Saipan, Power 99 and 97.9 The KAT.

MMAC major sponsors include Shell Marianas, Younis Arts Studio, Saipan Mayor’s Office, Angil Design, HANMI, Pacific Trading Co. and Staywell Insurance.

Meanwhile, the MMAC’s Team Bodig will be doing a Coin Drive Fundraising Event on April 25, May 2 and May 9, from 3pm to 6pm, at the Microl Toyota intersection in San Jose.

The 2008 Marianas March Against Cancer Committee and Team Bodig are inviting the public to help support their efforts in raising critically needed funds in the fight against cancer.
