Global Traveler on Saipan, Tinian

A representative of Global Traveler magazine was recently on the islands of Saipan and Tinian, according to the Marianas Visitors Authority. The magazine will feature the islands in its August 2008 issue.
Global Traveler is a monthly magazine that enjoys a circulation of 69,023 with a targeted audience of executive business travelers. It is enjoying its fifth year of publication.
The article will be a leisure profile that will include information on the destination, activities including where to relax, adventure, shopping and sightseeing, history, culture and several hotel and restaurant reviews. The value of the article is in excess of $100,000 of free publicity.
While here, the magazine visited Mariana Resort & Spa, Fiesta Resort & Spa, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Hafadai Beach Hotel and Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino. The reporter also experienced a trekking adventure, the magic show at Sandcastle, shopping at DFS Galleria and the local tourist attractions. He also had the opportunity to do a boat trip as well as a dive, giving him a first hand experience to see what a spectacular diving destination the CNMI is.
