The Marianas Visitors Authority, through its Japan office, recently participated in the Kansai Travel Fair at the Kansai International Airport.

The show is one of the largest travel consumer trade shows in the region.

During the two-day event, Saipan-da Marianas Quiz was conducted to bring awareness of the CNMI local attractions and other products while offering various giveaways.

A consumer seminar was also held during the event, which focused to promote the CNMI as a destination and highlight on the proximity of the CNMI to Japan. The Active Senior Campaign was also introduced to consumers who participated in each of the seminars. There was an estimated total of 33,000 visitors at the fair and more than 20 consumers attended each of the seminars.

“As always, our presence at these promotional shows are a very important component of our marketing efforts,” said MVA managing director Perry Tenorio. “As our No. 1 source market, it remains vitally important to MVA that our islands are consistently promoted throughout Japan.” (MVA)
