Camacho, Pirates tame Dragons in Majors
Frankie Camacho pitched 1.2 innings in relief to help the Kautz Glass Pirates to a 7-4 win over the San Antonio Dragons in Sunday’s Majors division game in the Saipan Little League at the Miguel Basa “Tan Ge” Pangelinan Field.
Camacho came in the top of the fifth with two outs with two runners on base and the Dragons holding on to a 4-2 lead. He struck out Nathan Camacho to end the inning.
The Pirates then made their comeback in the bottom of the fifth, scoring five runs to grab the lead giving Camacho the needed run support heading into the top of the sixth.
He struck out Dragons lead off batter Bo Barry to move the Pirates one out away from handing the San Antonio-based crew their second loss in eight matches.
A Pirates throwing error allowed Jared Cabrera to be safe on second while Steven Cabrera walked to put two runners on base.
But Jared and Steven were stranded after Camacho, who struck out four batters in 1.2 innings, fanned Misaki Cramer and Alden Ngeskebei to end the game.

[B]Survivors 12, McDonald’s 1[/B]The Martha’s Store Survivors scored five runs each in the second and fourth innings to cruise to a mercy rule-shortened 12-1 win over Team McDonald’s.
Jayvan Uchau pitched one inning in relief giving up three walks with two strikeouts.
He walked Ronald Butac at the start of the fourth then struck out Jared Lizama for the first out. He gave up consecutive walks to Josh Villgomez and Clayton Sablan to load up the bases.
He recovered after that, striking out Jonathan Rangamar then forcing Ian Rogolifoi to ground out to second base on a 4-3 putout play to end the game.
Poland Masaharu pitched the first three innings and allowed one earned run on four hits with three strikeouts and four walks. He also went 2-for-3 with a double and a second inning inside-the-park grand slam.
Villagomez scored the lone run for McDonald’s leading off in the first inning.
[B]Twins 13, Enforcers 3[/B]The Wells Fargo As Matuis Twins scored four runs each from the first to the third inning to score a 13-3 mauling of the Rep. Diego T. Benavente-backed Dare JPO.
Deron Jones allowed no hit in three innings despite giving up one earned run to Ismael Flores in the first inning.
Ton Camacho went 3-for-3 with an inside-the-park homer and a second inning three-run round-tripper to go with his three RBIs.
In other games on Saturday, the Tan Holdings Athletics pulled off a 9-7 win over the Kagman Little Lions, while the AA Enterprises/TCC World Tanapag Braves eclipsed the Shell Marianas Suns, 16-6.
