Triple J Five Star Wholesale and Pacific Trading Co. hosted an evening of “Rose Reds and Rendezvous” Friday night.

The tasting of certified Angus Beef and Kendall-Jackson wines was the excuse of 125 people for throwing a fine party at the Giovanni’s Restaurant, Hyatt Regency Saipan.

Wine glasses overflowed with Kendall-Jackson’s grand selection of chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir and merlot.

All the while, Hyatt Regency Saipan executive chef Gabrielle Colombo refused to cease the appetites of Friday evening’s guests with his gastronomic creations using certified Angus Beef and that many can vouch was sensory love at first taste.

Flank steak fajitas, beef bruschettas, Thai beef with fresh spring rolls, beef pastas, beef kabobs, and sirloin sushi complimented several stations that the was created at the event.

One of the major highlights of Friday night’s event was the monolithic, beautifully aged 32-ounce Tomahawk Chop that was brought all the way from the mainland especially for the event.

According to Friday night’s host Jay Santos, the night “was an absolute success. We are all very pleased with the turnout and the positive feedback we got from everybody.”

“People were very thankful that we hosted such an event. It gives people something to do,” Santos said.

The Hyatt Regency Saipan is featuring certified Angus Beef paired with Kendall-Jackson wine in its restaurants’ menu throughout the month of April.
