Seventy-three participants at 10 sites in the CNMI completed the Motheread/Fatheread® Adult Course and a Teacheread® course this month.
The Department of Corrections, Nothern Marianas College School of Education, Kagman Elementary School, Oleai Elementary School, San Antonio Elementary School, Gregorio T. Camcaho Elementary School and Songsong Head Start Center in Rota each hosted class sessions for their communities for the last two months.
The participants attended eight sessions for eight weeks with a certified trainer facilitating the course. The certified trainers who facilitated site sessions were Bryan Manabat, Viola DLGuerrero, Angelina Yobech, Maribel Loste, Celina Romolor-Route, Mary Jane Limes, Lois Dewitt, Fred Camacho and Mary Lynn Ogo.
