The CNMI Scholarship Office is now accepting applications for financial assistance for this winter/spring 2011-2012 term. Application deadline is Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011.

For students who submitted an application for fall 2011, their application is still valid for winter/spring 2011-2012 under the condition that both their official transcript and winter/spring 2012 class schedule are submitted at the same time before Feb. 28, 2012. Incomplete documents will no longer be accepted. Ongoing applicants are more than welcome to resubmit a winter/spring 2011-2012 application before the Dec. 15 deadline.

For all new and returning applicants: In addition to the winter/spring 2011-2012 application, these students must submit their supporting documents together, and these include: acceptance letter; official transcript; copy of U.S passport and/or birth certificate; winter/spring 2012 class schedule; and proof of CNMI residency for 2010 and 2011. The Scholarship Office will no longer be accepting incomplete application packages.

For (PL 14-37) Honors Scholarship Recipients: Their official transcript and winter/spring 2012 class schedule must be submitted as soon as they become available. Awards will be deferred until the office receives these documents.

Current and prospective applicants are encouraged to visit the Scholarship Office’s website at http://www.cnmischolarship.com/ to access required forms. Applicants are more than welcome to visit the office on Capital Hill, Building 1311 or call (670) 664-4750 for more information.
