A youth pastor and musician from New York is on island to stage a two-night free concert for the community which is slated for tonight and tomorrow in two separate venues.
Organized and sponsored by the Grace Christian Academy, school vice principal Beth Nunez said Pastor Justin Adour’s concerts are aimed at bringing encouragement to the people of Saipan and to remind them of “God’s amazing love for them.”
Through the event, she added, people will also enjoy some great Christian music in a style that they may not have been familiar with before.
Adour’s first concert will be at 6pm tonight at the Kagman Community Center. His second will be tomorrow night, Jan. 18, at the San Antonio Basketball Court also beginning 6pm.
Saipan Tribune learned that Adour is a youth pastor from New York and is the vice principal’s nephew. Through her invitation, the concert was finalized.
“He has heard me talk about Saipan for many years and is now so excited to be able to visit this beautiful island and the people of Saipan!” Nunez said yesterday on how the event was conceptualized.
Nunez said this is the first time that the pastor-musician will be playing his music on Saipan. Audiences, she said, can expect great Christian music and words of encouragement during the two concerts.
