Gov. Benigno R. Fitial will serve as the keynote speaker in today’s investiture ceremony for Joseph James Norita Camacho, the newest associate judge of the CNMI Superior Court.

Fitial will also swear in Camacho during the ceremony set at 10am at the Supreme Court courtroom in Susupe. The public is invited to today’s ceremony.

Chief Deputy Attorney General of Guam Philip J. Tydingco will serve as presenter for Camacho.

Camacho was sworn in as associate judge during a “private” ceremony at the governor’s conference room on Capital Hill last Nov. 10.

Camacho replaced Ramona V. Manglona as Superior Court associate judge after Manglona became chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the NMI.
