Fourteen GCA kindergarten to 5th grade competitors garnered 14 major awards in the Primary Grades Forensic Conference. Clerisse Dacumos, who won first place in Impromptu Speaking, will represent GCA in the PGFC special presentation at the end of the school year.

For the National Junior Forensic League, eight students won 12 major awards. GCA got most of the NJFL gold medals, qualifying four students who won first place in five different events to represent the CNMI in the NJFL national competition. Angela Cruz and Rebekah Kim will compete for Duo Interpretation, Angela Cruz for Dramatic Interpretation, Yujin Lee for Poetry Reading, and Asako Camacho for Prose Reading.

In the high school division, two National Forensic League students will represent the CNMI in the national competition. Gold medalists Terence Ho will compete for Impromptu Speech and Angela Mamaril will do Original Oratory. All of the six GCA NJFL and NFL students will join the CNMI team in going to Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 10-17 this year for the national competition.

Organized by the National Forensic Board and supported by the CNMI Public School System, the PGFC, NJFL, and NFL competitions encourage public and private school students to participate in and become proficient in the forensic arts: reading, debate, public speaking, and interpretations.
