SHRM special meeting and holiday celebration
The CNMI Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management will host a special membership meeting on Dec. 7, 2006, that will include the 2007 Board of Directors election, feature the 2006 Employer of the Year and will end with a holiday celebration.
The election and announcement of the Employer of the Year will be from 3pm to 5pm, while the holiday celebration will be from 5pm to 7pm.
Afternoon refreshments of coffee, tea and pastries will be provided during the special membership meeting at the Charley’s Cabaret of the Pacific Islands Club. After the meeting, complimentary appetizers and two beverages will be provided during the holiday celebration on the 2nd Floor of the Seaside Grill. Additional beverages may be purchased at happy hour rates.
Each attendee will receive the HR Guide to Surviving the Holidays, a 42-page booklet consisting of information every HR professional should know to survive the holidays. Information from the Department of Public Safety about drunk driving will also be available.
“We will also raffle a one-year complimentary membership, complimentary attendance to the local Annual Conference, the local Diversity Conference and general membership meetings,” said the group in a statement.
All SHRM members are urged to join their peers for this special event. Non-members in the business community, whether owners, managers or human resource professionals, are invited to learn more about the Society and to improve their human resource knowledge through the program.
The cost to attend the meeting is $15 for SHRM members and $20 non-SHRM members (includes refreshments and presentation materials).
