UoG student named Directors Choice and wins Manila trip

[B]TAMUNING, Guam[/B]—The executive directors of the association have named Michael C. Bumagat, a senior at the University of Guam, as the winner of the Directors Choice selection.

Bumagat, 21, will join other regional student winners in presenting his paper to the board of directors at the Pacific Region Investment Conference on Nov. 9 and 10 at the Shangri-La hotel in Manila.

His paper is entitled “Purchasing Stocks through Dividend Reinvestment Plans” Microsoft Corp.” Bumagat is president of the Student Government Association at the University, a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, a Government of Guam Merit Scholar and a Regent Scholar.

Michael will fly to Manila through the sponsorship of the Association and Continental Airlines. [B][I](PR)
