NAVFAC gets excellence award

[B]SANTA RITA, Guam[/B]—U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command has been named recipient of the 2005-2006 Small Environmental Business Action Coalition Award for Excellence.

SEBAC, which is a trade association whose members include small, women-owned, and veteran-owned businesses, presents the award to recognize a federal agency’s demonstrated commitment to small environmental business and its awarding of small business prime contracts. SEBAC selected NAVFAC for its strong support of small environmental businesses.

NAVFAC is the Navy’s facilities engineering professionals committed to Navy and Marine Corps combat readiness. The command is a global organization that is fleet focused, innovative, a surge enabler, ever faster and committed to continuous cost reduction. [B][I](PR)
