STAXX takes over from Taga Air

STAXX claimed the top post in the 20th season of the Philippine Bowling Association-Capital Bowling Center Thursday Night League after erstwhile leader Taga Air had its wings clipped when action resumed last week.

STAXX is a half game ahead of Taga Air with a 42-30 win-loss record, while Taga Air is at 41.5-30.5. Multi-Line Supply is within striking distance of the leaders with a 40-31 card, followed by Team Familia (38.5), StaR Water-Indians (37-35) and Bank of Saipan (37-35).

8 Gam3ler, UIC, and Jen Marz, meanwhile, were joined by Pure H20 and Sai Hand at the top of the 19th season of the PBA-CBC Friday Night League. All five teams are sporting 7-1 win loss standings, followed by PTI DSL Lite at 6-2 and Jos Corp. and PTI with identical 5-3 marks.

Mc Asia, for its part, regained the driver’s seat in the 35th season of the PBA-Budweiser Saturday Night League at the Saipan Bowling Center after going 3-1 last week. Mc Asia sits atop the leaderboard with a 36.5-19.5 win-loss mark, while erstwhile leader Fun & Games is now second with a 35.5-20.5 standing following a 1-3 performance last week.

SBC/J’s Restaurant (35-21), Bowl Like Chit (30-26), Philippine Consulate (29-27), and Team # 1 (29-2) close out the Top 5 in the team rankings.

The 3rd Budweiser Monday Night League continued firmly in the hands of Uragon Boys after improving to 15-5 last week at SBC. Super Fafa moved up a notch with a 13-7 mark, while CIC-Aon fell a rung down at 12-8. Four teams are tied at third as So Fine!!!, Team Familia, J’s Restaurant, and Lucky Shot all have identical 11-9 win-loss records.
