Pacific Games qualifier coordinator Jess Wabol announced that the selection process for the CNMI National Golf Team for next year’s Pacific Games in Apia, Samoa continues from the blue tee this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 21 and 22, at the Laolao Bay Resort Golf Resort.

The third qualifier from the blue tee then resumes on Oct. 29 at the Kingfisher Golf Links before concluding the second and final tier of the selection process with another back-to-back on Nov. 4 and 5 at Laolao Bay Golf Resort.

While only the Top 8 from the first round from the white tee will qualify for the second round from the blue tee, Wabol is encouraging all golfers in the CNMI to join the competition, which also acts as fundraiser for the quadrennial sporting event. The costs to enter is only $30—$20 for entry fee and $10 for fundraising contribution.

Those with high handicaps need not worry, as Wabol said the tournament will offer prizes to golfers with the lowest net scores.
