WSR principal Alfred B. Ada applauded the 6th grade students and wished them luck as they transition from elementary to junior high school.
“This campus will be here forever and the memories you made with your teachers and your friends will remain in your hearts. You have been with us for the last seven years and this school has provided you with the opportunity to learn from our teachers, staff, and your friends,” he said.
For her part, the school’s counselor Rebecca Flores congratulated the students and also encouraged them to continue their education so that they will become role models of the community.
“We’ve know these kids from kindergarten and we’ve seen them grow and were witness to the hardships and difficulties that they’ve encountered… This is a celebration. This is not the end but this is the beginning of another journey as our students transition to junior high school,” she said.
Public School System Acting Commissioner David M. Borja also attended the event as well officers of the school’s parents, teachers, and students association.
