RGA qualifier to piggyback on Micro Games golf
The Refaluwasch Golf Association June Ace of the Month qualifier will be held in conjunction with the Micronesian Games fundraising golf tournament set for this Saturday, May 27, at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort.
RGA president Jess Wabol said green fee is $20 instead of the regular $30 and are limited to the usual 16 slots.
The Micro Games golf tournament—which is part of the 4th Annual Family Fun Day festivities—will have a shotgun start at 10am and will be using the Callaway scoring system. The golfer with the lowest net score goes home with $300 and three months of free golf at Laolao Bay Golf Resort. Showtime is set at 9am.
The Top 3 duffers with the lowest gross scores will also win prizes. First gets $300 and three months of free golf, second gets $200 and two months of free golf, and third place gets $100 and a month of free golf.
As added bonus, Laolao Bay Golf Resort will also be giving away cash and cars in the tournament’s hole-in-one challenges.
USGA and local rules of play apply in the 18-hole tournament. Entry cost is $100, which will include the cost of the post-tournament banquet and contribution to the 6th Micronesian Games set here on Saipan from June 23 to July.
