After being crowned champions of the recently concluded Banzai Division of the Budweiser SBA Open 8-Ball League, VFW Fotten Gaga continued its hot streak and trounced Godfather’s What Doin? Tuesday night in the 8-Ball Budweiser Cup.

Fotten Gaga dominated What Doin?, 4-2, at Godfather’s Bar to win once again in the side tournament organized following the conclusion of the open league a couple of weeks ago.

Scoring wins for Fotten Gaga were the doubles pair of Edward Suzuki and Marvin Baulechong and singles players Gary Chisato, Bern Ikeda, and Suzuki. The two wins by Godfather’s came from the tandem of Sam Babauta and Diamond Aldan and singles player Carl Reyes.

Wild Wild West, meanwhile, saw their winning ways return after choking in their do-or-die game against Fotten Gaga by pasting VFW Pool Warriors, 4-3, at the VFW Post 3457.

Getting the wins for the team from Wild Bill’s were the duo of Simon Kapileo and Mong Detdon, singles players Jesse Pangelinan, Mike Rowell, and the quartet of Pangelinan, Rowell, Kapileo, and Detdon. The pairing of Ray Basa and Sheila Muna, Ike Palacios, and Basa got the three wins for VFW.

With the championship of the Tapochao Division in the bag, Da Place Sure Shots didn’t even lift a single cue stick in their game against USSP Fotten Palau and opted just to forfeit.

Despite the 0-6 loss, Sure Shots still topped the league with a 48-24 win-loss mark, followed by Round Two Hustlers’ 44-28. USSP Dreams, which drew with Round Two 3-3 the same evening, was third with a 30-42 standing, while Fotten Palau brought up the rear with its 22-50 performance.
