After months of planning, the Make-A-Wish Foundation is getting ready to grant the wishes of two brothers.
Today, July 17, Brandon A. and Brian A., both students at Kagman Elementary School, will have their wishes granted simultaneously at the Saipan World Resort.
Ten-year-old Brandon loves to play electronic games so it's no wonder that his wish was for a computer. Along with some of the latest features for computers, Brandon will be receiving an all-in-one printer and some games, as well as free high-speed Internet access from MCV.
Nine-year-old Brian is very similar to his older brother when it comes to certain things. They both like the color blue, chocolate ice cream, and when it comes to food, nothing compares to their mom's spaghetti. When it came time to get his one wish, Brian did not hesitate in saying that he would like to meet SpongeBob. As you would have it, SpongeBob, along with his best friend Patrick, and Dora the Explorer, will be making their way to Saipan to make a special appearance.
These wishes could not have been possible if it wasn't for the hard work and diligence of MCV through the division of MCV Cable Cares as well as the sponsorship of Saipan World Resort, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Hertz, Marianas Variety, and Ace Hardware. The shipping and handling of SpongeBob, Patrick, and Dora were done through the generosity of Continental Micronesia, DHL, Home Designs Etc. and Guam Pak Express.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Guam grants the wishes of children between the ages of 2_ to 18 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
